LMS Pilgrimage Schedule for 2010
Annual Requiem Mass in Westminster Cathedral: Saturday 6 November at 2.00 pm Westminster Cathedral. Pontifical High Mass of Requiem followed by Absolutions at the Catafalque celebrated by Bishop John Arnold, auxiliary in Westminster, who will also preach.
Confirmations in the traditional rite: Saturday 20 November at 11.30 am St James's Church, Spanish Place, London W1. Confirmations in the Traditional Roman Rite followed by Pontifical Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. With Bishop George Stack, auxiliary in Westminster. Parents who wish their children to be confirmed in the Traditional Rite should contact the LMS office on 020 7404 7284 (e mail: info@latin-mass-society.org) for registration details. Gregorian Chant Day at Our Lady & St Michael's Church, Abergavenny, Wales Saturday 4 September, 10.30 am to 4.00 pm. Nick Gale of Southwark RC Cathedral will lead this study day for all interested in learning some of the ancient plainchant melodies of the Liturgy. Tea & coffee provided. Bring sandwiches. Novena of Nine Masses to be offered in the Parish of Ryde, Isle of Wight, for the success of the visit to England by His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI. Starting Saturday 4th September. More details can be found here.

LMS Residential Retreat on Caldey Island (off Tenby) at the Abbey of Our Lady & St Samson has been cancelled. Formally Tuesday 19 - Thursday 21 October.
Plainsong Workshop: Mass of the Dead (with Lancaster Cathedral's Schola Cantorum): Saturday 13 November 2010 (2:00pm - 5:00pm), Lancaster Cathedral (St Walburge's Chapel). Admission free. Please book in advance (Cathedral Office: 01524 384820, events@lancastercathedral.org.uk).
Christmas: There will be Mass on Christmas Eve, at St.Brendan's Church, 151 Beanfield Avenue, Corby, to be celebrated at 10.30pm. The Mass will be preceded by carols from 10pm.
